Aircraft investment manager and remarketing specialist Avinco has closed the sale of two 1999-vintage Airbus A321s on behalf of Nouvelair Tunisia.

The first aircraft (MSN 0970) was sold to Apollo Aviation. The A321 will be placed under a lease agreement with Germania.

The second aircraft (MSN 995) is due for delivery later this year.

The aircraft are part of a mandate covering three Airbus-family aircraft, awarded by the Tunisian operator to Avinco in July 2012. Flightglobal understands that the third aircraft, a 1999-vintage A320, will remain in operations with the Tunisian carrier.

Last year, Avinco placed an A321 aircraft on lease to Russia's Kolavia-Metrojet on behalf of a TUI Travel subsidiary. The 1998-vintage aircraft was leased for a period of five years.
