Operating lessor AWAS has closed financing on another new Airbus A320 with debt provided by Cathay United Bank, according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database.

The aircraft (MSN 5466) was delivered new from the lessor's orderbook and placed on lease with China's Spring Airlines.

The transaction was arranged by the Korea Development Bank, confirms the lessor.

The A320 follows the delivery in December 2012 of another new A320 (MSN 5403) also financed with ECA support arranged by the Korea Development Bank. Cathay United Bank provided the debt.

According to Ascend, Spring has three more A320 deliveries scheduled for April, May and July this year.
