Operating lessor AWAS has closed the financing of a new Airbus A320 with a syndicate of banks.

The aircraft, which was delivered to Aeroflot-Russian Airlines, was funded with an export credit agency (ECA) facility with Euler Hermes guarantee and Apple Bank for Savings acting as lender.

The ECA transaction was arranged by Natixis Transport Finance.

The A320 is the fifth of a six-aircraft package with Aeroflot.
