AWAS has delivered the first of nine Airbus A320 aircraft on order to Thai Airways.
The A320s will be operated by Thai's subsidiary Thai Smile for its network expansion, says the lessor.
Flightglobal’s Ascend Online Fleets database shows that the first A320 from AWAS to Thai Smile is registered as HS-TXG (MSN 5806). The carrier is scheduled to receive three more A320s this year from the lessor, with the remaining five to be delivered in 2014.
Thai Smile has an additional five A320s on order and a letter of interest for more five aircraft.
