AWAS delivers fourth 737-800 to SpiceJet

AWAS delivered another new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to SpiceJet.

The aircraft (MSN 39428) is the fourth of five planned 737-800 equipped with CFM56-7B24 engines under an operating lease contract with the Indian budget carrier.

Three 737-800s delivered last year while the final aircraft is scheduled for April 2013, according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database.

SpiceJet's domestic share of market has recently climbed to around 20% and has a growing International presence in destinations in China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Nepal.
