AWAS places ex-Kingfisher A321s with Aegean and Turkish

Operating lessor AWAS has placed a pair of Airbus A321s previously operated by India’s Kingfisher Airlines.

The lessor has delivered a second A321 to Greek carrier Aegean Airlines.The 2007-vintage narrowbody (MSN 3322) is powered by International Aero Engines V2530-A5 powerplants.

It follows the delivery of another ex-Kingfisher A321 last month.

AWAS has also delivered a second A321 to Turkish Airlines.The 2006-vintage jet (MSN 2919) was leased for a period of six years, says Turkish.
