AWAS will acquire four Boeing 737-800 aircraft from BOC Aviation.
The four “late model” aircraft are on long-term leases with carriers in “three key regions,” says the Dublin-based lessor in a statement.
No further details about the aircraft or their operators were disclosed by either party.
“AWAS is continuing our planned growth initiative to acquire superior aircraft assets on lease to globally diverse airlines,” said Ray Sisson, president and chief executive of AWAS.
“Acquisitions in the secondary market are a key pillar of our expansion plan.”
The deal is expected to close in June.
