Brazil’s Azul added new flights on four domestic routes from 6 February.
The carrier added a new daily flight on a circular route from Belo Horizonte Confins to Campina Grande, Petrolina and back to Belo Horizonte. The route will boost connectivity for passengers from Campina Grande and Petrolina at its Belo Horizonte hub, it says.
Azul also added new frequencies to its existing services between Curitiba and both Maringa and Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont, and Porto Alegre and Passo Fundo.
The carrier flies ATR 72 and Embraer 195 aircraft.
No airlines fly between Belo Horizonte and either Campina Grande or Petrolina, Innovata schedules show.
Azul is the only carrier flying between Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont, according to Innovata.
Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) approved the routes and frequencies in January.
