British Airways has revealed that its all-premium transatlantic operation from London City Airport is achieving a load factor of 75%.
The airline started the service, which operates 32-seat Airbus A318s to New York JFK, in late September. It flies the route twice-daily.
BA's load figure, disclosed in the airline's third-quarter financial data today, covers the first three months of operation.
It is the first specific performance data released by the carrier about the service, although BA suggested in December that it could become profitable in its first year.
