British Airways is to cut back its London Gatwick network significantly for winter 2009.

Flights from Gatwick to Malta, Alicante, Madrid, Palma, Barcelona and Krakow will halt from 25 October.

From that time, Pisa, Malaga and Gibraltar routes will switch from Gatwick to London Heathrow.

BA will, however, slightly increase frequencies from Gatwick to various Caribbean destinations.
