British Airways' CityFlyer subsidiary has firmed options on two Embraer 190s, having taken delivery of the six Embraer 170s and five 98-seat E-190s it ordered in December 2008 to replace BAE Systems Avro RJs. The airline will receive the two additional E-190s in spring 2011. It has one remaining option on the type.
