BA expands fleet and network at London City airport

British Airways will expand its fleet and route network at London City airport with the delivery of another Embraer 190 this summer.

The new aircraft brings the total BA CityFlyer fleet size to 14. It will be used to increase flights to Frankfurt from three to four a day from the end of March and to increase flights to Glasgow from five to six a day from September.

It will also be operated on a new service to Venice from September.

In addition, BA is launching new services from London City to Mahon in Menorca, Quimper in Britanny and Angers in the Loire Valley in France from May.
