BA to open Chengdu route

Oneworld carrier British Airways is to open another new Asian route, to the Chinese city of Chengdu, and will begin services in September 2013.

It will operate the route three times per week from London Heathrow with Boeing 777 twinjets, configured with a four-class cabin.

BA has recently started flights to the Korean capital, Seoul. The Chengdu service will start on 22 September next year.
