Swiss regional carrier Baboo's Italian services are to operate under a codeshare with SkyTeam carrier Alitalia.
It will carry the Alitalia code on its flights from Geneva to Rome, Florence, Milan, Naples and Venice, and on its Milan-Marseille and Venice-Nice routes.
Alitalia will also assign Baboo's code to its own Rome-Geneva link, which it operates twice-daily.
"Italy is one of Baboo's main markets and we are particularly keen to provide services to and from that country," says Baboo chief Jacques Bankir, adding that the codeshare covers over 100 flights per week.
Alitalia brings the number of Baboo partners to five. It also codeshares with Air France, Olympic Air, Tarom and Darwin Airline.
