Bangkok Airways is planning to expand its network in India, shortly after launching a new service to Bengaluru.
The privately held carrier is now planning to offer services to the Indian cities of Lucknow, New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai, a spokesman said. The airline has not decided on a time frame for the new services, the spokesman added.
The airline has been operating five flights weekly to Bengaluru using an Airbus 319 since 26 September. This comes after the carrier launched a Bangkok-Mumbai service in March this year.
Thai Airways is the only other carrier offering services on the Bangkok-Bengaluru route, schedules in Innovata show.
