AirAsia has financed a new Airbus A320 delivery with a 12-year commercial loan facility arranged by Crédit Agricole-CIB.

The French bank acted as mandated lead arranger, facility agent and security trustee in the transaction.

Cathay United Bank, DBS Bank and Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Helaba) joined the financing as lenders.

The aircraft (MSN 6064) was delivered on 9 April.

Clifford Chance advised the lenders while AirAsia was advised by Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.
