Beijing airport passenger numbers down 3% in July

Beijing Capital International airport posted a 2.7% year-on-year decrease in passenger numbers to 7.36 million for July.

The airport's domestic passenger numbers fell by approximately 4.9%, while passenger numbers on international routes, including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, increased by 4.1% during the month.

Aircraft movements for the month rose 0.4% to 48,500.

For the month of June, the airport's overall passenger numbers rose by 1.4% year on year to 6.88 million and aircraft movements grew by 1.3% to 46,200.
