Beijing airport passenger traffic up 3.8% in October

Beijing Capital International airport (BCIA) has posted a 3.8% rise in passenger traffic to seven million in October, compared with the same period a year ago.

Its domestic passenger traffic increased by 2.6% and its international passenger traffic grew by 7.9% from the corresponding period a year ago. Its international passenger traffic numbers include those from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, said the airport.

Its aircraft movements in October rose by 3.7% to 46,400 from the same period a year earlier, added BCIA.
