Biman Bangladesh Airlines will launch a twice-weekly service from Dhaka to Manchester via London Heathrow, starting 2 November.
The carrier will operate nonstop flights from Manchester to Dhaka, but will fly via London Heathrow on the inbound flight from Dhaka, said Manchester Airport.
The airline will operate the route using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines placed orders worth a total of $1.4 billion for nine aircraft from Boeing including three 777-300ERs, four 787-8s and two 737-800s. The carrier expects deliveries to be completed by 2021.
According to Innovata schedules, no other carrier operates flights on the Manchester-Dhaka route.
