BNP Paribas was the arranger and lender of a 12-year stretched overall amortisation and repayment (SOAR) loan on Cargolux Airlines first Boeing 747-8F that was delivered on 12 October.
The French bank says the SOAR loan allows Cargolux to benefit from a synthetic 15-year financing.
JP Morgan arranged and financed the Ex-Im loan, which has a 12-year term.
The aircraft, MSN 35806, is equipped with Genx-2B67 engines.
The Luxembourg freight carrier has 13 Boeing 747-8F aircraft on order. The 747-8Fs are scheduled to deliver through 2016. Cargolux holds options on a further two 747-8F aircraft with delivery slots in 2014 and 2016.
