French bank BNP Paribas closed three new financings last month covering ATR 72s for Indonesian carrier Lion Air.
BNP provided a 10-year commercial loan covering two ATR 72-600s (MSN 1063, 1067) as well as one ATR 72-500 (MSN 1062) that will be operated by Lion Air's subsidiary Wings Air.
The transactions complete a four-aircraft debt mandate arranged by aircraft leasing and advisory vehicle Transportation Partners on behalf of Lion Group. The first aircraft on the deal (MSN 1055) closed late in November.
According to Flightglobal's Ascend online database, Wings Air has 38 more ATR 72-600s on order through to 2016. A total of 12 aircraft are due for delivery this year.
