Aircraft leasing company BOC Aviation has taken delivery of its first Embraer 190 aircraft, which will be leased to Kazakhstan's flag carrier Air Astana.

Two more E-190 aircraft will be delivered to Air Astana in spring 2013 and 2014, BOC Aviation said in a statement.

"We are very pleased to work with BOC Aviation to take delivery of this aircraft and further expand our network," Air Astana's president Peter Foster said in a statement.

Air Astana's E-190s are configured in two classes and are operated on domestic and regional services. The Almaty-based airline also operates Airbus A320 family aircraft, Boeing 757s and 767s, and Fokker 50s.
