Boeing adds 747-8, 777F and 787-9 to price list

Boeing yesterday released its latest price list, which for the first time includes the manufacturer’s planned 747-8 family, which is priced around $280 million, the $232.5 million to $240 million 777 freighter, and the 787-9, which ranges from $178.5 million to $188 million.

The manufacturer says the new list prices on average rise about 4%, a rate consistent with general inflation rate for manufactured goods.

Boeing’s latest price ranges for its five basic aircraft families are as follows:

  737-600             $47-55 million
   737-700             $54-64 million
   737-800             $66-75 million
   737-900             $70-80.5 million

   747-400, -400ER            $216-247.5 million
   747-400, -400ERF          $219-247 million
   747-8                $272.5-282.5 million
   747-8F              $279.5-283.5 million
