Boeing has appointed John Wojick as the new vice-president of sales in its commercial airplanes division.

Wojick succeeds Ray Conner, who was named president and chief executive of Boeing commercial airplanes in June.

Prior to the appointment, Wojick was vice-president of sales for commercial airplanes in North America.

Wojick is responsible for the sales of all commercial aircraft and related services to airlines and leasing customers globally.

He has previously led various regions within sales, including leasing, Latin America, Caribbean, Asia-Pacific and India. In addition, he led sales for used and VIP aircraft and helped launch Boeing Business Jets.

Brad McMullen, who previously led sales for Japan and Oceania, will succeed Wojick as the vice-president of sales for North America.
