Boeing and Thai International Airways have finalised an order for six 777-300ERs, raising the airframer's 2011 net 777 order total to 104.

The airframer says the order, which was first announced at the Paris air show in June, is valued at $1.7 billion at list prices.

The 2011 order intake represents more than a year's worth of production as Boeing plans to ramp up 777 production to 8.3 aircraft per month by the first quarter of 2013, equaling 100 777s per year.

Boeing has accumulated 370 gross orders this year and 96 cancellation, including 74 737s, bringing the airframer's net total to 274 orders in 2011.
