Boeing has extended its partnership with French MRO specialist Revima for landing-gear repairs.

The US airframer will continue to subcontract landing-gear repair and overhaul work for 777-200ER and MD-11 aircraft to the Normandy-based company until 2017.

Revima, a former EADS subsidiary that was bought out from European aerospace group in 2008, specialises in landing-gear and auxiliary power unit support.

The MRO provider - which services 747, 757, 777 and MD-11 landing gear - says it overhauled the first shipset for the 747-400 extended-range freighter variant in March.
