Fractional ownership giant NetJets has lost its president Bill Boisture, who resigned today (5 January). He will be retained as a consultant under a long-term contract.
Boisture joined NetJets in 2003 and steered the core NetJets Aviation fractional ownership operation through a period of US and international expansion. He recently completed the negotiations of five-year labour contracts with the company's pilots and flight attendants. "Bill has made a strong mark on the NetJets operations," says Richard Santulli, chairman and chief executive of NetJets.
Boisture has formed his own consultancy W Boisture & Associates and has signed an as-yet undisclosed long-term deal to continue his association with the company. Boisture says he remains "committed to the company's long-term success". "By retaining him as a consultant, we will continue to benefit from his management expertise and be in a position to apply his experience across all the NetJets companies," says Santulli.
