Bolivia has inked an order with AVIC International for four Xian Aircraft MA60 turboprops.
This order marks the MA60’s first international sale for the year.
It is unclear whether the aircraft will be used for military or civil operations in Bolivia. The country however, already has two MA60s, which it took delivery of in 2007.
The Civil Aviation Administration of China issued three airworthiness directives concerning the MA60 in February, following the malfunction of an Okay Airways MA60 landing gear indicator. This resulted in the grounding of 15 examples of the type.
