Bombardier names new president of customer services

Bombardier Aerospace has appointed Eric Martel as president of customer services & specialised and amphibious aircraft.

Martel will be based at the company's headquarters in Montreal. He will assume overall leadership of Bombardier's service and support network, and will be responsible for expanding the capabilities, global reach and responsiveness of the company.

Martel succeeds James Hoblyn, who passed away in July.

Most recently, Martel served Bombardier Aerospace as senior vice president for commercial aircraft, where he led aircraft programmes. He joined the company in 2005.
