After examining the Embraer E-190 last month Antiguan carrier Liat plans to evaluate the 70-seat Bombardier Q400 turboprop.
The carrier stated the Canadian airframer is planning demonstration flights in Antigua on 16 June and Barbados the following day. Liat's primary shareholder governments are Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda and St Vincent & the Grenadines.
Liat in the midst of evaluating options to replace its three Bombardier Dash 8Q100s and 15 Q300s.
AT the time of the E-190 demonstrations Liat stated it was holding discussions with several manufacturers including Bombardier and ATR.
