Both pilots survived yesterday's Antonov An-24 crash at Igarka which killed 11 of the 15 occupants of the aircraft.

The Russian emergency situations ministry states that the commander, second pilot and engineer on board the Katekavia flight from Krasnoyarsk survived, along with a passenger.

It states that the An-24 came down 700m (2,300ft) from the runway, and fire subsequently consumed the entire fuselage bar the cockpit and the empennage.
