British Airways adds Liberia to African network

British Airways is adding thrice weekly flights to Monrovia, Liberia via Freetown in Sierra Leone on 5 November.

Frequencies will be reduced to two per week between 10 December 2012 and 4 February 2013, before reverting to thrice weekly.

Flights will depart from London Heathrow airport's Terminal 5, and will be operated with a Boeing 767 in a three-cabin configuration.

With the addition of the Liberia service, British Airways serves a total of 16 African countries.
