Aircraft emergency parachute manufacturer Ballistic Recovery Systems (BRS) has signed a letter of intent to acquire US aviation safety systems company Free Flight Enterprises. The acquisition forms part of BRS's strategy to expand its product line and widen its customer base to include recreational aircraft such as ultra lights. Completion is expected early in the third quarter.
