Brunei and Kuwait have negotiated a more liberal air services agreement.

Kuwait's official KUNA news agency says the new agreement was signed yesterday in Kuwait.

It says the agreement allows for unlimited services between the two countries. Kuwaiti carriers are also able to operate services beyond Bandar Seri Begawan's Brunei International Airport to other destinations.

There are currently no non-stop flights between the two countries, according to Innovata, although Royal Brunei Airlines has flown to Kuwait in the past. Kuwait's Government also says the new agreement will "open new opportunities to the Kuwaiti air carriers".
