Ameco Beijing has signed a new contract with Thai charter carrier Business Air to support its Boeing 767 fleet.

Under the contract, Ameco will provide overhaul services for the carrier over three years, with the first overhaul to start in January 2014.

Ameco adds that it has already been providing airframe and engine maintenance for its Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines, as well as engine leasing services for Business Air since September 2012.

Flightglobal’s Ascend Online Fleets database shows that Business Air operates a fleet of five 767-300ERs, of which two are powered by PW4000 engines. The three other aircraft are powered by General Electric CF6 engines.

Ameco Beijing is a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa.
