JET AVIATION GROWS
Jet Aviation Singapore is planning to build a 6,100m2 (65,660ft2) hangar to take advantage of the growing demand for business aviation within Asia-Pacific. The facility - due for completion in January 2012 - will be built adjacent to fixed-base operation and maintenance facilities to accommodate up to five narrowbody or six ultra-long-range aircraft. Jet Aviation Singapore provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft repair, defect troubleshooting and rectifications, and aircraft modifications. In addition, the company offers interior refurbishment, avionics modification and exterior painting services.
Rizon Jet has clinched Qatari Part 145 approval for the maintenance division at its headquarters in Doha where it has approvals for the Bombardier Challenger 604/605 and Hawker 900XP. Rizon is also seeking to secure European Part 145 base maintenance approval for a range of business jets.
