Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CA-CIB) and Credit Suisse have closed financing on the first two new Airbus A320s delivered this year to Mexican carrier Interjet.
The banks were mandated to arrange an export credit agencies facility covering the A320s. The first aircraft, MSN 5163, delivered in June. The second, MSN 5221, closed last week.
CA-CIB, which was mandated as financial advisor for up to four aircraft of the type, is the ECA agent in the transaction.
The remaining two A320s as part of this mandate are scheduled for delivery in the final quarter.
