Aircraft remarketing specialist Cabot Aviation has closed the acquisition of a Boeing 767-300ER for its client Wings Aviation, which will lease the jet to Fly Jamaica Airways.

Cabot says the aircraft (MSN 24876) was acquired from a major lessor.

Flightglobal’s Ascend Online database shows that the 1992-vintage twinjet was acquired from ILFC. The 767-300ER was previously operated by North American Airlines.

The aircraft will enable the Jamaican flag carrier to expand its international network.

In 2011, Wings Aviation bought a 757-200ER from another Cabot client. “That sale forged a good relationship leading to the purchase of this 767-300ER which will also be leased to Fly Jamaica Airways,” says Cabot’s senior vice-president Charley Cleaver.
