Canadian simulator manufacturer CAE has inked online training contracts with cargo operator West Air Sweden, Italian carrier Myair and Kuwait Airways.
CAE will provide online recurrent training for pilots operating West Air Sweden's fleet of Bombardier CRJ200s.
In addition, CAE and Myair signed a three-year contract to use CAE's CRJ700 initial training courseware as part of its initial type-rating.
Pilots will take the online course so they can prepare for simulator sessions before training.
Kuwait Airways rounds out the new CAE deals.
The Middle Eastern operator will provide pilots with access to CAE's general operating subjects courseware including cold weather operations, dangerous goods, ETOPS, TCASII and several other subjects.
As West Air Sweden, Myair and Kuwait Airways pilots ready for CAE courses, South African Express Airways has used CAE's Web-based training program and a custom online test to help certify more than 70 pilots.
Terms of the deals were not released.
