Cambodian flag carrier Cambodia Angkor Air has received its first Airbus aircraft and plans to put it into operation on 5 September.

The Airbus A321 is on a wet-lease from Vietnam Airlines and will begin operations on the Siem Reap-Ho Chi Minh City route in September, says Cambodia Angkor's chief commercial and service officer Truong Thanh Vu.

Cambodia Angkor also has two ATR 72s on lease from Vietnam Airlines, which owns 49% of the carrier.
