Liquidators for collapsed Italian freight operator Cargoitalia are renewing attempts to sell technical assets of the company.
Cargoitalia stopped operations at the end of 2011 and the liquidator, Giovanni La Croce, originally sought expressions of interest in the carrier's assets in early 2012.
But in a new public notice the liquidator says it "intends to verify and assess any possible offer" to purchase a business division of the carrier.
It says the division comprises the technical organisation, certificated and valid for Boeing MD-11s, plus a "large stock" of MD-11 spares and a General Electric CF6-80 engine.
The sale could be implemented through a lease of the division, it adds.
Interested parties will have 15 days from the notice - which is dated 9 April - to submit expressions of interest for either the division as a whole or individual lots.
