Luxembourg-based freight carrier Cargolux has lost a second senior executive in the space of a few days with the resignation of chief operating officer Peter van de Pas.
Van de Pas is stepping down from the end of March, five years after joining the airline.
Cargolux has not given a reason for his decision nor named any successor. Van de Pas is a senior vice-president and member of the executive committee.
His resignation comes just a few days after Cargolux's sales and marketing chief, Robert van de Weg, quit the company after a disagreement on the airline's business strategy.
Cargolux is undergoing substantial ownership change after a tie-up with Chinese aviation investment company HNCA, which is taking a large stake in the carrier.
