Luxembourg freight carrier Cargolux's sales and marketing chief Robert van de Weg has resigned over the strategic direction of the company.
Van de Weg had been a member of the executive committee as well as senior vice-president for sales and marketing at the airline.
Cargolux says his decision follows "differences" with the board over the carrier's strategy for the future, although it has not given further details.
Van de Weg, who has been with the company for 14 years, will be succeeded in the interim by legal affairs head Henning zur Hausen.
Cargolux has undergone a period of upheaval in its ownership following the withdrawal of Qatar Airways as an investor after just a few months and the recent decision by the government to sell a shareholding to China's Henan Civil Aviation and Investment.
