Caribbean Airlines plans to launch non-stop daily flights to St Lucia from 10 February.
The airline will operate Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 aircraft between Port of Spain, Trinidad and St Lucia.
"The addition of this route solidifies our commitment to provide our customers with more options for travel within the Caribbean. St Lucia has been of strategic interest to us and we are excited to offer our Caricom neighbours reliable scheduled airlift within the Caribbean," said the airline's acting CEO Robert Corbie.
Caribbean Airlines will compete against Antigua-based LIAT on the route, schedules in Innovata show. LIAT operates nine non-stop flights per week between Port of Spain and St Lucia.
