Cathay Pacific will introduce a four-times weekly nonstop Hong Kong-Colombo service, starting 27 October.

The carrier says this will replace the existing four times weekly Hong Kong-Singapore-Colombo service, while retaining the thrice weekly Hong Kong-Bangkok-Colombo service.

It will deploy Airbus A330-300s on the route.

FlightMaps Analytics shows that Cathay Pacific competes with SriLankan Airlines on routes from Colombo to Bangkok and Singapore, and on the Bangkok-Hong Kong route.
