Cathay Pacific has posted a 6.3 percentage point increase in its passenger load factor to 80.8% for February.
Passenger traffic as measured in RPKs rose by 1.8% year on year.
Passenger numbers went up by 11% to 2.34 million, says the Oneworld carrier, whose traffic figures include that of its subsidiary Dragonair.
The carrier's capacity as measured in ASKs decreased by 6.1%.
On the cargo front, cargo volumes went down by 12% to 104,000t. The carrier's cargo and mail load factor for February declined by 4.7 percentage points to 61.1%.
Cargo capacity, as measured in available cargo/mail tonne kilometre, fell by 8.3% in the month.
