Cathay Pacific Airways' passenger traffic, as measured in RPKs, rose by 0.2% in June compared with the same period last year.
Passenger numbers went up by 2.9% to 2.48 million, says the Oneworld carrier, whose traffic figures include that of its subsidiary, Dragonair.
The carrier's capacity, as measured in ASKs, decreased by 2.1%. Its passenger load factor grew by 2 percentage points to 84.9%, the airline adds.
The amount of cargo and mail carried fell by 4.3% to 122,000t, while the carrier's cargo and mail revenue tonne kilometre decreased by 4%. The carrier's cargo and mail load factor went down by 4 percentage points to 61.7%.
Capacity, as measured in available cargo/mail tonne kilometre, increased by 2.2% for the month.
