CDB Leasing has expanded its owned portfolio with the addition of three Airbus narrowbody and widebody aircraft.
The Chinese lessor agreed to purchase two Airbus A320 (MSNs 3868, 3889) aircraft with CFM56-5B4/3 engines from GECAS, according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database. The 2009-vintage aircraft were last operated by Orbest Espana.
CDB Leasing also acquired a new A330-200 on lease to Singapore Airlines for a period of six years, Ascend data shows. The aircraft (MSN 1382) was delivered to Singapore Airlines in March.
Ascend data says CDB Leasing has a 96-aircraft owned and managed portfolio and with 36 units on backlog.
