CDB Leasing has closed a three Airbus A319-100 sale and leaseback transaction with Tibet Airlines with the final delivery.

The aircraft, MSN 4846, is equipped with CFM56-5B7/3 engines. It follows MSNs 4766 and 4801, which were delivered to Tibet Airlines in July and August, respectively.

Air China acquired a stake in Tibet Airlines in August this year. The carrier did not disclose any details but Chinese media reports said the Star Alliance member acquired a 31% stake valued at Yuan 86.8 million ($13.6 million).

According to Flightglobal's Ascend database, the Lhasa-based carrier has two more A319s on order scheduled for delivery in September 2012 and March 2013.

Tibet Airlines said earlier this year that it plans to expand to 20 aircraft over the next five years.
