Philippine carrier Cebu Pacific has applied to the country's civil aeronautics board to be allocated rights to serve Kuwait.

In its application, the carrier says it plans to launch four times weekly services on the Manila-Kuwait route, using Airbus A330 aircraft.

The board is set to conduct its next hearing on this application on 15 January.

Innovata schedules show that Cebu Pacific will compete with Kuwait Airways on the route.
